Fight for a place in Play-Offs intensifies.

IPL has entered into it’s last phase. And just like all it’s edition the last phase of the IPL has become the most exciting phase with four teams competing with each for a plce in the play-offs.

The teams in the ranks of Bangalore, Mumbai, Rajasthan and the surprise package of the season Hyderabad fighting to end in the top four of the competition. Chennai has almost made it’s way to the pay-offs as is seated comfortably at the top with 20 points with 3 games to play.

While on the other hand Mumbai and Rajasthan are tied at 18 points each with Mumbai seated at no.2 position while Rajasthan at position 3, net run rate being the factor. Bangalore and Hyderabad are tied at 16 points and are at 4th and 5th position respectively. Well, a couple of matches can change these group standings completely.

Tomorrow’s matches will be very important for Bangalore, as it’s a must win game for them against KKR in Ranchi to come closer to Mumbai and Rajasthan. While in the match against Rajasthan and Chennai, Rajasthan will look to keep their home record intact, and aim for those two points which will leave them tied up with Chennai at 20.

While Chennai will look to repeat what they did against Hyderabad, and end the winning streak of rajasthan on their home ground. And also will look to solidify their top position with 22 points. As it is always advantageous to be either at top or at second position in the table. As you will get two chances to qualify for the finals.
