Shoaib Malik was one of the Pakistani players who played in the IPL in the 2008 season. The right-hander turned out for Delhi Daredevils and managed to get the nod in the playing XI on seven occasions. He failed to carry on his T20I batting numbers in the IPL as his stint in the tournament is a mere failure.
In the five innings he got to bat, he managed to score just 52 runs at an average of 13 and a strike-rate of over 110. In the 47 balls he faced in the tournament, he failed to clear the boundary even once.
