Virat Kohli recently broke the Sachin Tendulkar record of fastest to score 19k International runs

The Indian skipper recently broke Sachin's record of fastest to reach 19000 runs in international cricket. Kohli reached this in 399 innings and Sachin had been holding this record for a long time, reaching there in 432 innings.

Sachin and Lara jointly hold the record for the fastest to reach 20,000 international runs. The both of them reached there in 453 innings. Meanwhile, Virat has been consistently scoring 2500 runs every year.

This year, the World Cup will also take place and hence, Kohli will get more opportunities to bat. As a result, breaking this record in 2019 is going to be a certain event, unless Virat's form slumps drastically during the year.
