#4 Roston Chase
The all-rounder, who made his debut in 2016 against India, proved his mettle in the second Test itself. Chase picked five wickets in India’s only inning and effected a runout but he reserved his masterpiece for the last day. West Indies needed to bat out a day to save the Test after being 48/4, Chase scored a spectacular 137 not out to prevent the loss.
The 26-year old from Barbados since then has added two more centuries to his records, both coming against the accomplished bowling attack of Pakistan. Chase’s off-spin though has not really kicked on thus making him more of a batting all-rounder in the middle order.
Roston Chase has not been in a great form of late but confronting India once again will hopefully charge him up. With the helpful turning tracks around, he will want to rejuvenate his bowling career.
