The 21-year-old wicket-keeper Batsman from Delhi made his International debut against Sri-lanka in 2017. Pant was part of the Indian team, which reached the final of under-19 World Cup 2016 and was the second highest run-scorer for India. He was later picked by Delhi Daredevils.

He is regarded as the most hard-hitting batsman in India's domestic circuit. Pant scored the second-fastest century in a Twenty20 match, scoring 100 off 32 balls, against Himachal Pradesh in Syed Mushtaq Trophy 2017-18.

Pant has also scored the fastest century in Ranji Trophy, off just 48 balls. Pant is an ideal contender to replace MS Dhoni in limited-overs format, both as a wicketkeeper and a finisher.

First-cass career: Matches- 20, Runs- 1555, Top score- 308
