From being the highest run-scorer for India against England last time around to becoming the only player to be axed from the Indian side after the conclusion of first three tests, Murali Vijay has had a torrid time at the crease this time.

This tour has been a completely different story for Vijay as he has completely looked out of sorts and hasn't been able to capitalize on his batting strengths.

Vijay did not get off the mark in both the innings of the second test as he fell prey to James Anderson's swingers.

He had suffered a huge dip in his form and never managed to settle himself in the crease scoring mere 26 runs from four innings.

With age on the wrong side of the thirties and the emergence of Prithvi Shaw and Mayank Agarwal, we could surely see Vijay get omitted from the list.
