Mohammed Siraj has already featured in 3 T20s for India. He was unfortunate to miss the flight to England. Shardul Thakur and Siddharth Kaul were the pacers selected for the England tour. Their performance in the absence of Bhuvi and Bumrah was quite ordinary, resulting in India losing the ODI series.

Of late, Siraj has come up with impressive performances while playing for India A. This would make his case even stronger and selectors might bring him on board.
