Full list of England Champions players for World Championship of Legends 2024 ft. Kevin Pietersen and Ian Bell

England Champions will participate in the upcoming World Championship of Legends 2024 tournament. The tournament will feature retired and non-contracted players from cricketing powerhouses like England, India, Pakistan, Australia, West Indies, and South Africa. It has been approved by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and will take place at the iconic venues, Edgbaston Stadium and Northamptonshire County Cricket Club.

The event is scheduled to take place from July 3 to 13. It is the only legends cricket league approved by the ECB. It offers fans the opportunity to witness some iconic players competing in their country's colors.

The England Champions will be captained by former English skipper Kevin Pietersen. The iconic batter last played competitive cricket in Legends League Cricket last year in India. Pietersen was a part of the India Capitals team.

Ian Bell, who played 118 Test matches for England, will also return to the field through this tournament. He is one of the few players who have scored a century in each format of the match. Bell was part of the England Legends squad that featured in the Road Safety World Series in 2022.

Ravi Bopara is the first British-born Asian cricketer to have represented England in all three formats of the game. He is also a part of the England Champions team.

Sajid Mahmood will lead the team's pace attack. His outstanding performance in the 2007 ODI World Cup against Bangladesh earned him the Player of the Match award.

Phil Mustard, the leading run-scorer for Durham County Cricket Club in T20s, will be the wicketkeeper in the team. Mustard recently played in the US Masters T10 last year.

Kevin O’Brien, a former Irish all-rounder, is also part of the English squad in the World Championship of Legends 2024. O’Brien featured in 153 ODI matches for Ireland and scored over 3,500 runs. With the ball, he took 114 wickets at an average of 32.68. He scored a half-century in his last outing in the Legends League Cricket in December last year.
