Full list of Hubli Tigers players for Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 ft. Manish Pandey and Mohammed Taha

Defending champions Hubli Tigers retained 2023 Maharaja T20 Trophy-winning skipper Manish Pandey for the upcoming 2024 edition of the tournament. While Pandey was one of the four players to be retained by the franchise prior to the auction, the Tigers management re-acquired two other players from their 2023 title-winning group at the bidding event.

Blistering opener Mohammed Taha and leg-spinner KC Cariappa were the two cricketers who are set to reprise their roles for the Hubli Tigers, alongside captain and senior batter Manish Pandey.

Fast bowlers Vidhwath Kaverappa and L. Manvanth Kumar as well as wicketkeeper-batter Krishnan Shrijith were the other three retentions made by the franchise.

At the Maharaja T20 Trophy 2024 auction in July, the Hubli Tigers management acquired the services of 24-year-old spin-bowling all-rounder Thippa Reddy. He emerged as one of the positives from the Mangaluru Dragons group during their otherwise lacklustre season last year.

Much like Thippa Reddy, the Tigers also acquired another spin-bowling all-rounder from Mangaluru Dragons 2023 squad in the form of 21-year-old prodigy Aneeshwar Gautam. Moreover, the team management shelled out over Rs. 6 lakh for Gautam at the auction.

In a bid to further strengthen their bowling department with specialist spinners, the defending champions added former Mysuru Warriors tweaker Shreesha Achar and Bengaluru Blasters’ 2023 cricketer Rishi Bopanna.

Mitrakanth Yadav, who previously played for the Hubli Tigers in the 2019 season of the Karnataka Premier League, will be accompanying Achar and Bopanna as another specialist spinner. Aadarsh Prajwal will be joining the Manish Pandey-led side as one of the primary batting options.
