Full list of IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans players for TNPL 2024 ft. R Sai Kishore and T Natarajan

IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans are one of the three teams that made their debut in the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) in 2021. They will begin their campaign in TNPL 2024 in the fifth match against Lyca Kovai Kings on Sunday, July 7, at the SCF Cricket Ground in Salem.

The Tiruppur Tamizhans have finished eighth, fifth, and sixth in the last three seasons. They won two out of seven matches last year, which came against Ba11sy Trichi and Nellai Royal Kings.

The team retained 10 players before going into the TNPL 2024 auction. R Sai Kishore, who captained the side last season, was one of the players to be released. He was bought for INR 13 lakhs during the TNPL 2023 auction. In the 2024 auction, the Tiruppur Tamizhans shelled out INR 22 lakhs for Sai Kishore and bought him back.

The franchise also purchased the services of T Natarajan for INR 11.25 lakhs. Maan Bafna, Rohit R, and Mathivanan P were the other three players for whom the franchise spent INR 2 lakhs or more. Vijay Shankar has been appointed as the team's skipper this season.

Sai Kishore is the leading wicket-taker in TNPL with 73 wickets in 52 matches at an average of 17.25. He has scored 343 runs at an average of 20.2 and a strike rate of 125.2.

Natarajan has picked 44 wickets in 32 outings in the TNPL at an average of 16.73, while Maan Bafna has amassed 712 runs in 37 innings at an average of 23 and a strike rate of 112.5.
