Mumbai Indians
No side has retained more players than Mumbai Indians have going into this year’s auction despite the fact that last year was the first time since 2009 that they didn’t qualify for the playoffs. One of the most consistent sides, they let go of two of the most destructive Kiwi players in Corey Anderson and Martin Guptill.
With the least budget of any side going into IPL Auction 2017, Mumbai will certainly need to be careful about who they splash their cash on. But with a squad that has options in every department, they have a settled squad that only needs a few minor tweaks.
