His incredible record in the Ranji Trophy is well-documented. After finishing his maiden Ranji season for Mumbai as its top run-getter (809 at 50.56), he followed it with a stunning 2015-16 Ranji season where he heaped up 1321 runs from 11 matches at an average of 73.38 and a wonderful strike rate of 92.70.

Alongside his terrific record at the domestic level, solid performances in the IPL and for the India A side has made him one of the most exciting players in the country.
