#1 Bad light brings an early end to the game as the Hawks fall short

It’s been an up and down tournament for the Hawks. They won three and lost three in the league stage before winning the Eliminator. In this game after conceding 152 in 13 overs, it was up to their batsmen to give themselves a shot at the final.

However, after a forgettable start where they lost David Warner and Mark Deyal in the first two overs, it was always going to be an uphill task. Lendl Simmons hit 3 fours and 3 sixes in his 20-ball knock. David Miller and Darren Bravo struck a couple of sixes each as well, but it wasn’t enough.

The Hawks lost 5 wickets in 8.3 overs and bad light came into play which brought in Duckworth-Lewis into picture. They were 13 runs behind and lost the game. The Knights who topped the league stage qualified for the final and will now face CWIB.
