Harbhajan Singh to captain North Zone in Deodhar Trophy

One of the most successful Indian spin bowlers, Harbhajan Singh has been selected to captain the North Zone team in the Deodhar Trophy, which is a limited overs inter zonal knockout tournament to be played at Visakhapatnam from 23rd March 2014.

Left-handed Indian opener Gautam Gambhir, who is also trying to make a comeback to the Indian team has been named vice-captain.

The first match for North Zone in the tournament is against South Zone on 24th March 2014. Vikram Rathore has led North Zone selection committee process and the team was picked during a meeting at the PCA Stadium in Mohali.
