When junior Pandya was only a 5-year-old boy, his father wrapped up his existing business in Surat and moved to Vadodara. This move was to help his boys with more conventional cricket training facilities. Hardik Pandya's father, Himanshu Pandya enrolled his two boys into Kiran More's cricket academy in Vadodara. Financially vulnerable, the Pandya family resided in a rented apartment in Gowra, with the siblings using a second-hand car to travel to the cricket ground. Even though their fight didn’t stop there, great things had begun shaping up for both the siblings since then.

The larger-than-life Pandya brothers currently live with their respective partners (Hardik also has a son, Agastya with wife Natasa), their mother and dogs in a cozy family home in Vadodara, Gujarat. The four-bedroom penthouse spread across 6000 sq ft is reportedly priced at INR 3.6 crores and was purchased by the duo many years back. They purchased all the four flats on the top floor and hired Anuradha Aggarwal, Creative Director of Olives Cre, to style the house of their dreams.
Before passing away in 2021, Hardik and Krunal Pandya's father used to live with them there. As observed in most of the pictures released by the Pandya household on the internet, Hardik Pandya’s father could be seen playing with his only grandson, Agastya, and having a gala time.

How did Hardik Pandya's father die?
On 17 January 2021, India all-rounder Hardik Pandya shared a heartfelt post on social media for his late father, Himanshu Pandya, who passed away because of a cardiac arrest just the day before.
Messages of support from the cricketing industry poured in for the duo soon after the news was out. Hardik, who was practicing for the limited-overs series against England, left Mumbai for Vadodara.
Meanwhile, Krunal, who was leading Baroda in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021 campaign in Vadodara, exited his bio-bubble to be with the family. Both the brothers performed the last rites of their father.
Ever since then, the Pandya brothers could be seen sharing pictures and videos of their late father in his memory. Recently Hardik Pandya even shared the moment where his father received his brand new Jeep Compass SUV. It was a gift from the cricketer to his father. Both the brothers have also changed their names on their respective social media accounts where they have added their father's name ‘Himanshu’ as their middle name as a tribute to him.
