Brad Hodge
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Mumbai Indians were off to a good start. Their openers, Michael Hussey (56) and Lendl Simmons (62) helped put on a 120-run opening stand that helped MI reach a total of 178/3 in their 20 overs.

In reply to MI, Rajasthan Royals struggled right from the start with a string of single digit scores from Unmukt Chand, Shane Watson, Sanju Samson, and Kevon Cooper. RR were 75/7 when Brad Hodge and James Faulkner decided to take it upon themselves to save their team from an embarrassing defeat. Both of them managed to put on a partnership of 69 before Hodge was dismissed on 40.
While Faulkner remained unbeaten on 31, he couldn’t help get his team over the line and RR lost the match by 25 runs. Despite this partnership making the record books, this is one of those matches that the Rajasthan Royals would want to forget.

Sunil is a pro wrestling journalist, covering AEW and WWE news stories at Sportskeeda. He holds an MBA degree in Marketing, and has nearly 7 years of experience. A wrestling aficionado since childhood, Sunil used to imitate his favorite wrestlers as a young kid, and started writing professionally about the sport via Sportskeeda’s revenue-sharing opportunity.
Sunil admires former world champions AJ Styles, Will Ospreay, and Kenny Omega for their ability to consistently deliver great matches as well as entertain crowds with their mic skills.
If ever given a chance to change a storyline, Sunil would have booked Roman Reigns to end The Undertaker’s WrestleMania streak instead of Brock Lesnar. According to him, The Tribal Chief needed the victory more than Brock Lesnar, as the latter was already an established performer when he defeated ‘Taker. He would’ve also made that as Taker’s final match.
Always focused on making his work accurate and reliable, Sunil thoroughly checks his facts before writing his articles. When not writing for pro wrestling, he spends his time watching cricket.
