#4 Manjot Kalra:

The left-handed opening batsman from Delhi got selected for the under-19 World Cup team after ending up as the second highest run scorer in the Cooch Behar Trophy 2016-17 with 742 runs. In the matches, he played for Delhi in the tournament he scored runs at an average of 49.47 with a century and 6 half-centuries to his name. He scored a commendable double century against Maharashtra in Nasik. He faced many age verification tests on his way to the under 19 team.
Kalra was also the 'Man of the Match' in the Finals of the Under 19 World Cup where he smashed an unbeaten 101 off 102 balls to guide India to an eight-wicket victory over Australia. He smashed 3 sixes and 8 fours in his innings. He scored 252 runs at an average of 84 in the under 19 World Cup with a century and fifty to his name.
After the World Cup, he was bought by the Delhi Daredevils for Rs.20 lac in the 2018 edition of the IPL. He didn’t feature in any of the games but definitely must have learned a lot sharing the dressing room with players like Chris Morris, Glen Maxwell, and Jason Roy.
