Shivam Mavi, the bowling all-rounder from Noida, is one who has troubled many batsmen in the Under 19 World Cup with his pace. His consistency of bowling over 140 mph got him 9 wickets in the World Cup at an average of 18.88. He also picked up these wickets at an economy rate of 4.12.

With his fiery pace, Mavi was bought for Rs.3 Crore by the Kolkata Knight Riders for the 2018 season. He featured in 9 matches for the Knight Riders picking up 5 wickets.

He made his List A debut for India A against South Africa A on the 27th of August 2018. He was a regular part of the Uttar Pradesh team in the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy 2018 where he picked up 8 wickets. He was also the 'highest wicket-taker' for Uttar Pradesh in the tournament. He picked up his first hat-trick and five-for in his debut match for Uttar Pradesh against Saurashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy.
