Dubai, Oct 13 (IANS) Due to the cancellation of Tuesday's third ODI between India and the West Indies in Visakhapatnam, Mahendra Singh Dhoni's side will not be able to leapfrog Australia -- who top the Reliance ICC Team rankings following their 3-0 series victory over Pakistan -- even if they win the next two matches against the Windies.
Australia, who lost their place at the top after the loss to Zimbabwe in Harare on August 31, raced to 114 points thanks to Sunday's dramatic one-run victory in Abu Dhabi.
This will help them remain 0.02 ratings points ahead even if India win the remaining two matches -- Oct 17 and 20 -- of the five-match series.
The third ODI between India and West Indies was cancelled due to cyclonic storm 'Hudhud', which wreaked havoc in the costal city of Visakhapatnam
