4.India vs Pakistan, 2012 World T20
After defeating both Afghanistan and England in the Group Stages, India entered the next stage of the 2012 World T20, with confidence under their belt. However, they found themselves on the unfortunate end of the rain in the opening game against Australia.
That meant the next game against Pakistan became a must-win and in such a scenario, the Men In Blue bought their A game out.
First, with the ball, they restricted Pakistan to 128 and then with the bat, led by Kohli again and supported by Virender Sehwag, they got to the mark with 8 wickets in hand.
However, they still could not make it to through to the semifinals as in the subsequent matches, Pakistan beat Australia and India narrowly defeated South Africa to still bow out of the competition because of an inferior net run-rate.
