Kohli was simply awesome on that night in Mohali

After losing to New Zealand and then beating Pakistan and Bangladesh, India came into their last Group match against Australia, needing a win to make it through to the semifinals of the World T20.

Opting to bat first Australia could conjure up 160 for 6, thanks to some disciplined Indian bowling.

In response, India found themselves struggling a bit at 65 for 3 in 10 overs. Virat Kohli was the key man for the hosts and when the equation boiled down to 39 needed in 3 overs, it was anybody's game.

But the 18th over proved to be the difference as Kohli spanked James Faulkner for 18 runs and then took 16 runs from the next over off Nathan Coulter-Nile to almost seal a superb win.

MS Dhoni carted Faulkner for a boundary off the first ball of the last over and India were home in sensational fashion.
