However, Mohammed Amir is just too talented to become a lost cause – and he proved just that. Raging in to bowl against the Indians, Amir got the wickets of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan – three of the most in-form batsmen in the tournament.

In the end, he finished with three wickets to his name and conceded only 16 runs in the process.
