Tamim Iqbal laid a strong platform with a well compiled 70 at the top of the order

The most experienced players in the team, Tamim Iqbal, Shakib Al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim faltered in the middle overs as they lost their wickets within a span of 25 runs. After being at 154 for the loss of two wickets, the Tigers slumped to 179 for five wickets with their experienced players back in the pavilion.
These crucial wickets in the middle overs enabled the match to shift in favour of the Indian team as they managed to squeeze in some tight overs and ensured a below par score.
