ICC Champions Trophy New Zealand's schedule

The New Zealand National Cricket Team will take part in the upcoming 2025 ICC Champions Trophy as a qualified team from the 2023 World Cup. The former Champions Trophy Winner (2000) has been playing all the editions of the tournament since 1998. New Zealand beat Pakistan and India in the semis and in the finals respectively to clinch the 2002 trophy under the captaincy of Stephen Fleming. They did not qualify for the knockout stage in 2002, 2013, and 2017 but managed to reach the semis in 2006 and final in 2009.

New Zealand’s ICC Champions Trophy 2025 Schedule: Date, Time, Venue

New Zealand, the two-time World Cup runner-up (2015, 2019) will be a competitor in group A along with India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan, based on ICC's official website. The Black Caps will be led by Mitchell Santner in the tournament. They will be a part of the opening fixture this year as they face one of the hosts Pakistan on 19 February, 2025, at National Stadium, Karachi. New Zealand's second group match is against Bangladesh on 24 February, 2025, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The former World Test Championship winner (2019-2021) will face the 2024 T20 World Cup champion India in the last group fixture on 2 March 2025 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

New Zealand vs Pakistan, 1st Match, Group A

New Zealand against Pakistan will be the first group stage game for the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. This fixture will also marked the first game of New Zealand in the competition. The clash is scheduled on 19 February 2025 at National Stadium, Karachi.

New Zealand vs Bangladesh, 6th Match, Group A

The sixth match of the tournament and the second group match of New Zealand is scheduled against Bangladesh. This match will take place on 24 February, 2025, at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

New Zealand vs India, 6th Match, Group A

New Zealand will take on India for the last group stage match of the 2025 Champions trophy on 2 March, 2025, at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. This will also mark the third group stage match of the Kiwis of the tournament.
