ICC Champions Trophy Venues 2025

The upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will take place in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates from February 19 to March 9. The eight-team tournament will consist of 15 matches, which will be played across four venues. The National Bank Stadium in Karachi will host the tournament opener between Pakistan and New Zealand on February 19.

Meanwhile, the historic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host the second semi-final on March 5. The first semi-final will be hosted by the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on March 4. Dubai will also host the three group-stage matches of Team India. It will also host the final if the Men in Blue qualify for the summit clash, as per Al Jazeera.

In case, India fails to qualify for the final, then the summit clash will take place in Lahore on March 9.

ICC Champions Trophy Venues 2025

1.National Bank Stadium, Karachi

The newly-renovated National Bank Stadium in Karachi will play host to three matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. Apart from the tournament opener between hosts Pakistan and New Zealand, the 34,000-seater stadium will stage two Group B matches: Afghanistan vs. South Africa (February 21) and South Africa vs. England (March 01).

2. Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore

The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will host at least four matches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The newly-renovated stadium, which now boasts LED floodlights, larger scorecard screens, and new hospitality boxes, will play host to a clash between Australia and England on February 22, as per Hindustan Times.

On February 26 and 28, the venue will host Afghanistan’s encounters with England and Australia respectively, before staging the second semi-final on March 5. In case India does not qualify for the final, the title clash will be held in Lahore.

3. Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi

The Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will be privy to three group-stage matches of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The venue will host the sixth match of the tournament on February 24 when Bangladesh takes on New Zealand.

A day later, the same venue will set the stage between Australia and South Africa. The final match at the venue will take place between Pakistan and Bangladesh on February 27.

4. Dubai International Cricket Stadium

The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will host all three matches that Team India will play in the group stage of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. The Indian team will open its campaign against Bangladesh on February 20. The marquee encounter between archrivals India and Pakistan will also take place in Dubai. The big ticket encounter will take place on February 23.

A week later, the Men in Blue will wrap up their group-stage campaign against New Zealand on March 2. Dubai will also host the first semi-final. It will also host the final on March 9 if India makes it to the summit clash.
