Bangladesh youth team's off-spinner Sanjit Saha has been reported for suspected bowling action against South Africa in the opening match of the Under-19 cricket World Cup.
With the 43-run victory over the reigning champions on Thursday still fresh in their mind, the news came as a bolt from the blue for Bangladesh colts, reports bdnews24.com.
The umpires of the match formally lodged the complaint after the game ended at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
The 18-year-old went wicketless giving away 30 runs in 8 overs against the Proteas.
He will undergo a test within the next two weeks at an International Cricket Council (ICC)-approved laboratory. However, he will be able to keep bowling until the result is out, as per the rules.
Bangladesh will take on Scotland in the second Group A match in Cox's Bazar on Sunday.
