Strengths: Bangladesh are no slouch and can pose a big threat in this edition of the World Cup.

Their biggest strengths will undoubtedly be the presence of experienced players like Tamim Iqbal, Mushfiqur Rahim, and the No.1 All-Rounder Shakib al Hasan in their top order. These 3 provide a lot of finesse and firepower to their top order and they can catapult to a big score.

Also, the presence of other all-rounders like Mahmudullah and Mehidy Hasan along with pacer Mustafizur Rahman, who gives a sharp edge to the Bangladesh side.

This team is not short of match-winners and can give a decent performance.

Weaknesses: The presence of weak pockets in the side are however are evident with no good player to open with Tamim or to partner Shakib al Hasan in the spin department.

Though they have a lot of experienced players, the youngsters in the playing XI are hardly effective and players like Mosaddek Hossain, Sabbir Rahman, Liton Das, and Mohammad Mithun have to perform and they are the weak spots in the side.
