Bumrah has come of age during the last year in international cricket and would be leading India’s bowling attack in England. Bumrah’s inswinger with the new ball has troubled batsmen world over. Lately, he has also developed the ball that goes away from the right-handers.

Bumrah is one of the world’s best during death overs. His ability to get the yorker spot on is second to none. He mixes his length beautifully in the slog overs and is hard to get away.

A lot of India’s chances would depend on his performances in the death overs as Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been struggling of late. The Indian team management should try to preserve him for the World Cup by requesting the Mumbai Indians to rest him for the later stages of the IPL.
