India's 2011 World Cup winning hero, Gautam Gambhir, used number five jersey throughout his ODI and T20I career. While Ambati Rayudu who recently debuted has also chosen to wear the same number jersey.

Gambhir served Indian cricket for quite a long time before he called it a day last year while Rayudu is a fresh talent trying to book his place in the team.

The spin duo of Ravichandran Ashwin and Amit Mishra wears number 99 jersey in the ODI and T20I cricket. Both of them have played for India for a good amount of time, however, are struggling to make it to the team during current times.

Nonetheless, Ashwin is a regular part of Test team but there are no signs of him in the white-ball cricket as of yet. On the other hand, Mishra is also not in the current scheme of things.
