Runs were not easy to get by for the Karnataka batsmen in the morning session

Siddharth Trivedi made the ball move in the morning session

Ganesh Satish however broke the shackles soon

Both the batsmen mixed caution with aggression and had no problems whatsoever

Pawan acknowledges teammates after his century

Pawan however perished soon after to Trivedi

Sathish also perished soon after to give Trivedi his second

Chipli however stopped the slide and scored a crisp 50

By the end of the day Karnataka were in a commanding position

It was a tough day for Saurashtra on the field and they will be hoping to strike early next morning with the help of Unadkat and the second new ball.
