Rajasthan Royals plan to rope in Shane Warne as head coach

Leg-spin wizard Shane Warne is likely to reunite with Rajasthan Royals in next year's IPL season. According to a report in Bangalore Mirror, the franchise are planning to rope in the 48-year old as the team's head coach.
Warne was team mentor in the 2018 IPL season. However, his prior commitments prevented him from being a constant presence in the team's group stage campaign. Having returned from a two-year suspension, the Royals were eliminated in the play-offs during this year's edition.
During the inaugural IPL season in 2008, Warne captained Rajasthan to the title against all odds. Eager to replicate their lone triumph from ten years ago, the franchise are looking towards the shrewd cricketer's coaching skills.
