The Rae Bareli-born RP Singh had a brilliant start to his career but soon faded away. He only played 14 Tests for India picking up 40 wickets. The 33-year-old represented India in 58 ODIs as well picking up 69 wickets at an average of 33.96. The Left-arm fast-medium pacer also has 15 wickets in 10 T20Is.

The Indian speedster had a fantastic IPL career in which he picked up 90 wickets in 82 matches at a strike rate of 19.72. RP recently played for the Pakhtoons in the T10 League at Sharjah.

RP Singh announced his retirement in September 2018. He represented Deccan Chargers, Kochi Tuskers Kerala, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Rising Pune Supergiants in the IPL.

Injuries and inconsistent performances could not let RP Singh showcase his best for the national team. He is currently a cricket expert and can be seen featuring in various television pre-match and post-match shows as well as online publications.
