Piyush Chawla was retained by KKR ahead of IPL 2019

Piyush Pramod Chawla proved himself as an effective leg break bowler. The Aligarh-born player played only 3 Tests for the India in which he picked up 7 wickets. He also played 25 ODIs in which he picked up 32 wickets. The 30-year-old has represented two IPL franchises, Kings XI Punjab and Kolkata Knight Riders. He is currently a part of KKR.

A well disguised googly is his most potent delivery and has fooled even the best batsmen of his time. It is unlikely that he will make a return to the national side. However, Chawla is still an integral part of Gujarat for whom he now plays in the Ranji Trophy.

Over the years, Piyush has also worked immensely on his batting. Besides picking up 12 wickets in his last 3 First class matches, Piyush has also scored 229 runs including a fifty and a century.
