Cheteshwar Pujara, having brought back to the side in the second match after being dropped in the first, looked solid before his mix up with Virat Kohli, which led to his downfall in the first innings and was able to see out the maximum number of deliveries in the second innings. Pujara will also look to bring his county experience to play a big knock.

Even an 80% fit Kohli is miles ahead of any other Indian batsman at the moment and going by the sort of personality and leadership style he has, Kohli will definitely play the do or die match.

Ajinkya Rahane, the vice-captain of the side certainly looked to get his touch in the first innings of the previous test before Anderson got him to knick one to Alaistar Cook in slips. India will certainly look up to their vice-captain to come to the party in this do-or-die match.

Karun Nair, not many would agree with his inclusion, but India does need an extra batsman in their lineup. Having a triple century to his name and scoring heavily in the domestic season, Nair certainly deserves his chance to test himself against the No. 2 side in the world.
