#2 Peter Handscomb's innings of 20*

Glenn Maxwell is sure to rob all the back page headlines of tomorrow, but it's quite important to credit Peter Handscomb's handy little innings of 20*. This innings of his took 18 balls, which is under-par in T20 cricket, right? Not really.
Now, when you're in a huge run chase, as a batsman, you tend to take the baton upon yourself and help your partner by sharing the run-burden.
But Handscomb chose the other option, as he realized that the more minutes he spends on the non-striker's end, the more we all get to witness the Glenn Maxwell show, and more would be Australia's chances of winning. Well, he knew that his partner would take some stopping.
They struck a 99-run partnership, with Maxwell scoring the large chunk of the runs. But out of the remaining nine overs or so since Handscomb arrived, it was important for the 'Big Show' to face as many deliveries. And that was exactly what happened.
Every time Handscomb got on to strike, he made sure Maxwell got back to face the bowler. And honestly, that was quite special.
