India:

Shikhar Dhawan – 8.5

After a very disappointing series against West Indies, Shikhar was finally back to his best with a magnificent innings in a pressure chase.

Rohit Sharma – 2

His intention especially in a huge chase was questionable. Never got going and was dismissed for 7.

KL Rahul - 3

Got promoted up the order and looked in good touch but failed to get a decent score.

Virat Kohli - 2

He continues to bat in this position in T20s but this role just does not suit him. He might move back to number 3 next match.

Rishabh Pant – 6

Played a decent knock and gave fans something to cheer for But his knock was not enough to win the match.

Dinesh Karthik- 8

Almost finished the game singlehandedly for India. Used the crease very well and played some delightful strokes.

Krunal Pandya - 1

Struggled with both bat and ball. He is a much better player than this and hopefully bounces back to perform well in the next match.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar - 8

Another outstanding bowling performance from Bhuvi. Bowled 10 dot balls in the powerplay which just shows his class.

Jasprit Bumrah - 6

Perfect bowling performance from him but bowled just 2 overs due to rain delay.

Khaleel Ahmed - 4

Got a wicket off his very first ball but his overall bowling figures were expensive.

Kuldeep Yadav - 8

On a batting paradise, he was simply outstanding with the ball as he deceived the batsman in the air constantly.
