India vs England 2016: 5 players who were unlucky to not get selected for the Test series

Kuldeep Yadav was one of the best players in the 2014 U-19 World Cup

#1 Yuvraj Singh

Yuvraj has had a spectacular domestic season so far

One of India’s most successful players will be looking to make another comeback to the national side after proving himself on the domestic stage with Punjab.

Currently, he is the leading run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy after four matches with 587 runs to his name. He achieved his highest ever individual first-class score against Baroda in the 4th round of fixtures of the prestigious tournament where he scored 260 runs in the first-innings of the match.

The 35-year old has played 40 Tests for India and has scored 547 runs at an average of 33.92 with 11 half-centuries and three centuries to his name. With Gautam Gambhir back in the Test squad after a long lay-off, Yuvraj too would be fancying his chances to make another mark on the big stage.
