Rishabh Pant came out all guns blazing and smashed his way to a quickfire 28 runs off just 12 balls by hitting one four and three huge sixes before clobbering a full toss straight into the hands of Kane Williamson off Blair Tickner's bowling.

Hardik Pandya- 4/10

Just like other Indian batsmen, Hardik Pandya too smashed his way to a quickfire 21 off 11 balls but failed to hang on for a long period of time and was dismissed by Scott Kuggeleijn in the 15th over. With the ball, Hardik Pandya would consider himself unlucky as three catches were dropped off his bowling in his spell of 4-0-44-0.

The experienced wicket-keeper batsman did not have a good day with the bat as he was dismissed for just 2 runs by Daryl Mitchell.

Dinesh Karthik- 7/10

Dinesh Karthik fought hard till the end and scored an unbeaten 33 runs off just 16 balls by hitting 4 sixes but failed to take India past the finishing line.
