Sri Lanka pacer Suranga Lakmal was spitting fire at freezing Dharamshala as he ripped through India's batting order, recording his career-best figures of 4-13.

Lakmal used swinging and seaming conditions as he combined forces with Angelo Mathews to reduce India to 29/7.

Lakmal was almost unplayable and Thisara Perera made the most of this opportunity by making his strike pacer bowl 10 overs on the trot.

Although MS Dhoni managed to salvage some pride for the hosts by scoring 65 off 87 balls, the visitors' bowlers completely dominated the first innings.

India eventually managed to post 112 in 38.2 overs, their lowest ODI total at home since 1993 when they were bowled out for 100 by the West Indies at Ahmedabad.
