India vs Sri Lanka 2024: Schedule, venues, IST timings and live streaming details

The senior Indian men's cricket team is currently in Sri Lanka for a white-ball series. The Men in Blue will play three T20Is and three ODIs in the island nation from July 27 to August 7. All three T20I games will be played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, while the ODIs will be held at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

Star batter Suryakumar Yadav has been named captain of the T20I side ahead of all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The latter was deputy to Rohit Sharma when Team India won the 2024 T20 World Cup last month. However, chairman of selectors Ajit Agarkar clarified at a press conference a few days back that Pandya's injury woes came in the way of him being elevated to captaincy.

Rohit will be the captain of the ODI side. There were earlier reports that the Hitman might be rested for the tour. However, new head coach Gautam Gambhir reportedly expressed his wish that both Rohit and Virat Kohli play the Sri Lanka series. Kohli is also part of the one-day side, while Jasprit Bumrah has been rested. Pandya too will be unavailable for the ODIs.

In India, the live telecast of the India vs Sri Lanka 2024 series will be available on the Sony Sports network channels.

As per a post on the official X handle of Sony Sports Network, the matches can be watched on Sony Sports Ten 1 (English), Sony Sports Ten 3 (Hindi), Sony Sports Ten 4 (Tamil/ Telugu) and Sony Sports Ten 5 (English). The coverage of the T20Is will begin at 6:00 PM IST.
