#2 Hardik Pandya
Hardik Pandya had a very average series in England, and hence was dropped in the last Test in favour of Vihari. Despite being termed by many as the next Kapil Dev of India, Pandya is not living up to this tag with the bat or the ball. His only standout performance came in the 3rd Test match, when he picked up a five-wicket haul and scored some crucial runs for India.
In 8 innings, Pandya scored just 164 runs at an average of 23.42. With the ball, he managed to take 10 wickets in 6 innings at an average of 24.70 and an economy rate of 3.84. Hence, the above stats suggest that Hardik Pandya has underperformed with both the bat and ball and so should be dropped against the West Indies.
