India's search for a left seamer has had a good answer in Khaleel Ahmed. He was a perfect foil for India's new-ball pair of Bhuvi & Bumrah. He kept the pressure created by the duo as the wickets continued to tumble as windies were bowled out for 104.

He kept bowling short at the batsman coming around the wicket. Angle made the scoring difficult as Rovman Powell was playing dot balls.

He finally lost his patience only to fall prey to those short ball tactics giving an easy catch to Dhawan. He also picked up the wicket of Captain Jason Holder who has batted well with the tail. He has been impressive since making his debut in Asia cup and if he could keep improving with more match time, then he could be the third seamer for the world cup in England. With him being a left-hander it strengthens Kohli’s bowling arsenal.
