Agarwal could be finally making his debut.

Mayank Agarwal and Mohammad Siraj could be the latest addition to the Test arena should they make their debut against the West Indies. The first match saw the arrival of the prodigy Prithvi Shaw to the international circuit and he performed admirably, scoring a century in the process and also won the Man of the Match award for his work.

Mayank Agarwal has been selected in the team on the back of his marvelous run of scores in the domestic circuit dating from the 2016 Ranji trophy and has been finally given a chance due to the failure of the Indian top order batsmen. The onus will now be on the likes of Shaw, Mayank, and Rahul to take to take their game to another new level.

Mohammad Siraj has been a find for the Indian cricket over the past year or so. He has played few T20s for India in the past but not in the Test format. In all the likelihood, he could be handed a Test cap when the two teams meet each other in his hometown of Hyderabad next Friday.
