Profile and recent form

Timycen Maruma is a leg spinner and a useful lower order batsman. The Zimbabwean uses his height to extract bounce off the wicket to surprise the batsmen while bowling.

Early in his career, Mamura impressed the selectors with his performances for the Easterns at the domestic level. Sighting his capability, he was eventually handed his international cap in an ODI against South Africa, though he failed to make an impact in that match.

The 28-year old has shown a lot of promise in domestic cricket and is considered as one of the finest slow bowlers of the country. Though he's had a disappointing start to his career, the future for this young allrounder looks bright.
