India vs Zimbabwe T20I Series 2024: Full schedule, squads, match timings and live-streaming details

Zimbabwe will host India for a five-match T20I series. The first match of the series will be played on Saturday, July 6. The second match will be played on Sunday, July 7. The third game is scheduled to be played on Wednesday, July 10. The next two matches will be played on July 13 and 14. All five matches will be played at the Harare Sports Club.

The Indian squad has many new faces. In a reshuffle, Sai Sudharsan, Jitesh Sharma and Harshit Rana have been drafted in to replace Sanju Samson, Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The return of the T20 World Cup-winning squad has been delayed due to Hurricane Beryl, with Samson, Dube, and Jaiswal set to join the team after a felicitation ceremony before the last three matches.

Rinku Singh and Khaleel Ahmed are expected to join the squad in Harare, while Shubman Gill, named captain for the series, will travel directly from the USA to join the team.

Sikandar Raza will lead Zimbabwe in the series. Antum Naqvi, a batter born in Belgium, has been selected for the first time. However, his participation is contingent upon the verification of his citizenship status.

Zimbabwe brought back all-rounders Wesley Madhevere and Brandon Mavuta for the series following the completion of their suspension for drug use.

Additionally, experienced fast bowler Tendai Chatara, who was last seen in action during the T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier, earned a place in the squad after being omitted from the series against Ireland and Bangladesh.
