# 9 Robin Singh
Though Robin Singh was famous for being the head coach of Mumbai Indians for 3 seasons from 2010 - 2012, it is often forgotten that he was the head coach of the erstwhile franchise Deccan Chargers in the inaugural edition of IPL 2008. The season with Deccan Chargers was a disaster with the team winning only two matches from 14 games and a win percentage of 14.28%.
Robin Singh however though revived his career with Mumbai Indians and had an incredible win percentage of 63.26 % with the Mumbai side. He took Mumbai to the finals of the IPL 2010, but the team lost out to CSK in the finals.
If not for his history with Deccan Chargers, Robin Singh could have ended up number one in our list as the best ever IPL coach with a win percentage of 63.26 %. But combining his stats, he won 33 matches in 63 games as the head coach.
His winning percentage of 52.38 takes him to the 9th position in the list.
