# 4 Trevor Bayliss

Trevor Bayliss was the head coach of the Kolkata Knight riders for four seasons of the Indian Premier League from 2012 – 2015. He took over from where Dav Whatmore let off and ensured that the Kolkata side won the IPL title twice under him in IPL 2012 and 2014.
In the IPL 2012, they won against CSK in the finals; while they won against Kings XI Punjab in the finals of IPL 2014. In the two other seasons under him, Kolkata could not proceed to the playoffs ending up as 7th in the points table in IPL 2013 and 5th in IPL 2015. After 2015, Jacques Kallis (who is the on the 7th position in our list) took over the club as the head coach from the IPL 2016.
In total, he had ensured 36 wins in 64 matches for the Kolkata side. His winning percentage of 56.25 positions him on the list as the 4th best coach in the IPL history.
