Indian squad for West Indies series remains unchanged

India have named the same squad which is playing in the Champions Trophy for the ODI tri-series in the West Indies, beginning June 28. The continuity reflects the team’s impressive performance in the ongoing tournament, where they made it to the semi-finals after winning all their group matches.

The squad includes seven batsmen, five seam bowlers in form of Umesh Yadav, Ishant Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Irfan Pathan and Vinay Kumar, and three spinners- R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja and Amit Mishra.

After the Champions Trophy, India will travel to the Caribbean for the series that includes Sri Lanka along with the hosts: West Indies.
