IPL 2012: Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Delhi Daredevils LIVE

Its time for the Royal Challengers of Bangalore to open their IPL 2012 campaign opposite the Delhi Daredevils. While the Bangalore boys will be playing their first game, the Daredevils have already got off to a winning start against the Kolkata Knight Riders.

In a rain affected game, the Daredevils romped home riding a gusty effort from Irfan Pathan with the bat. Morne Morkel looked lethal as he ripped out the Kolkata top order.

The Royal Challengers, however, are a team endowed with batting firepower. The batting line up comprising of Chris Gayle, AB de Villiers, Sourabh Tiwary and of course, Virat Kohli would send cold shudders down any bowling attack.

The Royal Challengers played the Daredevils once last IPL, and won a very tight game with three balls to spare. James Hopes helped the Daredevils reach 160, and a half-century from Virat Kohli and cameos from Daniel Vettori and J Syed Mohammed helped them get home. However, on a head to head, Royal Challengers have played Daredevils eight times- winning three matches and losing five.

So what will happen in this game?
