Yuvraj Singh was sold for Rs 14 crore to Royal Challengers Bangalore

After the auction for the 7th season of Indian Premier League, Yuvraj Singh of India is the most expensive player in the auction.

Yuvraj Singh was bagged by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 14 crore. The second most expensive player is the Indian middle-order batsman, Dinesh Karthik was bagged by the Delhi Daredevils (DD) for Rs 12.5 crore.

Kevin Pietersen was expected to be a big purchase in this year’s auction because of his availability for the entire season being certain, and Delhi Daredevils retained him for Rs 9 crore.

After the mentioned 7 players in the list (shown below), there is a number of players in the 8th position with the same price tag of 5 Crores each. They are Robin Uthappa for KKR, Murali Vijay for DD, Mitchell Start for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Michael Hussey for Mumbai Indians.
